Based on the material your operation most commonly uses for de-icing, the Western® Marauder line offers the best delivery system for you. The S070A and S070C are suited for half-ton and light-duty pickup trucks and the S035A and S035C are purpose-built for mid-duty UTVs and compact trucks.

The hopper is made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and constructed entirely of rivets and bolts, with no welding. This provides a cleaner stainless look and is easier to repair for long-life and protection against stress.

Baffles within the chute deliver a consistent spread pattern that reduces material waste. By directing material to precise points on the spinner, it helps to cast it away from the truck rather than onto the back of your bumper. A direct drive motor offers better torque and reduces servicing.

A material delivery extension reduces leaking/spilling during transport. This provides a more cab forward design, allowing for added stability and weight distribution of the hopper.

When equipped with the optional pre-wet accessory, it leads into the patented pre-wet mixing chamber.

The Striker® 0.35 cu yd stainless steel hopper spreader delivers reliable, low-maintenance performance with more control. The 0.35 cu yd model is designed to allow material to flow smoothly and efficiently and is purpose-built with many of the same features of our larger Striker hopper spreaders but at the right size for UTVs and compact trucks.

Reduce material waste with this innovative chute design. Baffles within the chute deliver material to the areas of the spinner that cast it out and away from the truck. An extra-large 12″ polyurethane spinner delivers a spread pattern of up to 30′ and provides long-lasting, corrosion-free performance.

When an obstruction occurs, the transverse auger delivery system can reduce downtime by automatically backing itself in and out until the obstruction is cleared or a required adjustment has been made.

The Marauder line of hopper spreaders expands to give you the options you need to maximize efficiency. Corrosion-resistant polyethylene models with your choice of pintle chain or the All-New Helixx™ auger delivery system are added to the Marauder line for more options to fit your operation’s needs.

Resist the corrosive environment of de-icing with polyethylene construction. Lightweight, yet highly durable, these hoppers are built to last. The molded polyethylene tub geometry is optimized for better material flow. This allows for a smoother, even flow that prevents materials from getting stuck.

Special design allows the hopper to stand on end for easier storage in the off-season and easier installation into the truck bed. Simply remove the two pins, unplug it, and take off the chute before standing up the hopper.

When precision is needed with salt placement, the new line of stainless-steel drop spreaders from Western Products is the answer. The Drop 250 and Drop 600 spreaders provide up to 36″ of spread width in a drop pattern so the salt stays exactly where your vehicle drives.

With three mounting systems, these units can fit on most UTVs, compact tractors, or wheel loaders to make quick work of sidewalks, walking paths, and other paved surfaces where truck equipment can’t easily gain access.

The material delivery system has finger-like appendages that agitate the surrounding material with every revolution. This ensures a consistent amount of material flows into the spreader trough and, at the same time, keeps it from bridging.

The entire trough drops open for easy and fast material clean-out when the job is done. This allows you to store any leftover de-icing material in a dry, weather-resistant container until you need it for the next job.

The all-new Western® utility tailgate line does just that. The Low-Pro 300 and 300G models spread a variety of bagged de-icing materials up to 25 feet, offering fully featured performance to get more jobs done faster.

The spinner motor transmission is electric powered, drawing electricity from the vehicle for quiet, consistent operation. The motor is protected from the corrosive environment by a sealed drive enclosure.

The variable speed control allows the operator to adjust the spinner speed to manage spread width from inside the cab. The control is weather resistant and provides easy cab mounting.

Material is delivered by a powder coated, vertical steel auger. The unique design helps break up clumps and prevents material from spilling to provide long-lasting, reliable performance.

Models 500 and 1000 both feature a durable 10″ polyurethane spinner that delivers a spread pattern of up to 30′. Model 2500 comes standard with a large, 15″ polyurethane spinner that delivers a spread pattern of up to 30′.

Designed to attach to a wide variety of vehicles, the Western® Pro-Flo™ 525 and Pro-Flo™ 900 poly tailgate spreaders feature a two-stage, auger-fed delivery system and dual variable-speed control for consistent and efficient flow of all types of de-icing materials.

The PRO-FLO™ 525 tailgate spreader comes standard with a combination 2″ receiver hitch and 3-point tractor mount for use on multiple vehicle types.

The PRO-FLO™ 900 tailgate spreader requires the additional purchase of one of the available mount options: a pivot mount, a 2″ receiver hitch mount (requires additional adapter), or a 3-point hitch mount.

Enhanced, dual variable-speed control allows you to precisely match material delivery and spread patterns to conditions. Four standard accessory buttons and a dedicated blast button provide optimum in-cab efficiency.

Easy-to-understand, digital self-diagnostics alert the operator when the spreader is empty or when adjustments are needed, and LEDs make the control easy to read. Its compact size compared to traditional controls fits easily into today’s modern truck cab designs.
